Christmas playlist of Hungarian songs

In this post, you can find a YouTube playlist of modern and traditional Hungarian Christmas songs, and the English lyrics of my favourite one.

Here's some explanation to the items on the list:

1. Zséda - Téged!
   Kind of like Mariah's All I Want For Christmas.
   
   
2. Mennyből az angyal
   Angel from Heaven - traditional Hungarian Christmas song
   
   
3. Csendes éj (Silent Night)
   
   
4. Csondor Kata - Add tovább
   This is my favourite one! You'll find the English lyrics at the end of this post. Make sure to have some Kleenex at hand.
   
   
5. TNT - Fehér Karácsony
   White Christmas. It's close to my heart because at secondary school I used to sing in the school choir and we sang it at a Christmas concert. There were about 50 singers in the choir and it sounded beautiful.
   
   
6. Crystal - Kiskarácsony, nagykarácsony
   Small Christmas, big Christmas - the modern adaptation of a traditional song.
   
   
7. Pásztorok, pásztorok
   Shepherds, shepherds. It's a traditional Hungarian Christmas song about shepherds happily going to visit the baby Jesus.
   
   
8. Malek Andrea, Kulka János - Hát boldog karácsonyt!
   The Hungarian version of So This Is Christmas.
   
   
9. Bereczki Zoltán, Szinetár Dóra - Ünnep volt
   It's the Hungarian version of Where are you Christmas, sung by a musical actor couple. They were the dream couple about ten years ago but they got divorced. The song remained a hit in Hungary, though.
